Printed onto archival (acid and lignen free) cotton fibre art paper, with archival pigment inks.
Sent either flat inside stiff board, or rolled into a mailing tube.
Story:
Another work celebrating the beaky birds of the Inlet.
These girls are looking for lunch over Mapua's mudflats. Mostly it's mud at this time, because the tide is out, but there are channels of water, with small fish and critters that the birds feed off.
Usually it involves a bit of a dive-bomb!
This is one of many of my works set around the humble inlet. I adore painting the shore birds, capturing the essence of an ordinary day on the Inlet, with the wildlife, the tides and the light all working in harmony as it does in nature.
I want people to look twice, enjoy the beauty, and respect the fragility of our beautiful coastal habitats.
Framing Tips:
This print fits an off-the-shelf picture frame with an A4 sized mat board opening (i.e. the hole!). Remember to use a frame with a mat border, so the print doesn't touch the glass. Once framed, it will be quite a bit bigger than A4 because of the border and the frame itself.
Or invest in professional framed and gorgeous mat board for full fabulousness!
