Original NZ Landscapes 

Most of my South Island original paintings start with a bike ride. I like to observe and feel the landscapes I paint.  When I paint a commission I try and do this too.

Shore Birds Original Paintings 

Fabulous wading birds with lots of character, painted with a knife.  Shore bird originals are inspired from observing coastal estuaries, the birds, tides and plays of light.

Paintings are usually conceived while biking the backcountry and the coastlines. Living in Nelson, I'm close to the estuaries and bird life that are such a presence in my work.
