INSPIRATION
This work evokes a sense of calm. Inspired by a beautifully still mid-week morning at Monaco, looking towards Rabbit Island in Nelson. The reflections are almost perfect in the stillness, and the light is coming from a weak winter sun about to break through the cloud cover. Oystercatchers rest and roam, snacking on the mud critters at the tideline, unthreatened by the boat in the distance.
