Collingwood Gull - original painting


The Black billed gull is the most endangered seagull on earth. This one is cruising Collingwood, intent on finding some lunch!


I adore painting shore birds, capturing the essence of an ordinary day on the Inlet, with the wildlife, the tides and the light all working in harmony as it does in nature.


Framing - this frame has been hand made from scratch, from solid NZ timber, by my husband Reid.


All my materials have been selected, sized, prepared and finished by hand, making a bespoke hand-made work of art, completely from scratch.
