INSPIRATION
Another work celebrating the birds of the Inlet, and telling their story of adapting to 'modern life'. These gals are out looking for a feed.
The gannet is incredible to watch feeding - once they spy their prey, they'll dive straight down vertically and snatch it.
I adore painting shore birds, capturing the essence of an ordinary day on the Inlet, with the wildlife, the tides and the light all working in harmony as it does in nature.
