INSPIRATION
I saw Eileen down at the beach resting, seemingly 'leaning' on one leg. She reminded me of a not very PC joke, so I've now painted her and indulged my warped sense of humour!
I adore painting wading birds, capturing the essence of an ordinary day on the Inlet or beach with the wildlife, the tides and the light all working in harmony as it does in nature.
The birds are slowly disappearing. I hope my paintings inspire people to look twice, enjoy the beauty, and respect the fragility of our beautiful coastal habitats.
