Riwaka is a 'drive straight through' to the sexier Kaiteriteri Beach and the famous Able Tasman National Park.
Only locals really know about it's gorgeous tidal patterns, and all its shore birds.
I wanted this painting to reflect the calm, secluded vibe of Riwaka's beach and it's feathered locals.
Hand made, completely from scratch - I chose the canvas off the roll, cut exactly to size, we (He!) made the timber back frame it is stretched over, and (He) hand made the lovely NZ timber frame it is presented in. This takes a lot of time, but makes a truly bespoke, one-of work of art I know you'll treasure.
