If you've looked into the water at Port Tarakohe, at the right time of day, you will have noticed a family of stingrays cruising the port.


When I was watching these rays, I was equally astonished by the light play under the water. I noticed how rocks change color and how the sunlight dances in the current, warping in a really beautiful way.

Oil on canvas, stretched over a hand made frame.

Size: 450mm square, 30mm deep. Edged in a deep dark brown.
