There's something magic about being on the Kaikoura Coast. Mountains seemingly rise straight out of the Pacific Ocean, and all the blues and greens in winter time are rich and delicious.
The setting for this textured piece is the shore edge in front of Kaikoura's historic Fyfe House.
My family hail from Kaikoura. I have painted it several times, and every time get so much pleasure from it. I hope you enjoy it just as much.
