This painting celebrates the simple daily life of shore birds ... gulls having a yarn. A couple of oystercatchers rest and just watch. The gentle ripples in the water ever so slightly disturb the grenery reflected in water.


The specific location is Port Tarakohe, around from Pohara Beach - although it's a little hard to tell, it could be any beachy location in New Zealand!
