Who doesn't love the poaka / pied stilt, with its ridiculously, long pink legs! A classic wading bird, often seen with it's head down, feeding in the shallows.
These small works are fabulous in a small space, either by themselves or as a set of three. Perfect for a tall skinny wall, or the awkward space between windows.
Framing - this frame is as much an original work of art as the painting itself! It has been lovingly hand made from scratch, from salvaged heirloom heart Rimu (a New Zealand hard wood). Made by my clever husband, Reid.
